dearest friend..

you keep telling yourself: 'this is nothing. i can leave anytime'
but the truth is.. you've been kidding yourself.
probably just to spare your heart the pain.

the truth is, you're soo deep in trouble.

you and her.. will never be together.

you know it.
she knows it.
and i know it too..

i can see it in your eyes, how your face softens when you talk about her. how you smile without realising it.. when you're just about to tell me a joke she mentioned to you earlier today.

but you see, my dear.. sometimes, some things are just not meant to be.
even if you keep chanting in your heart, praying vigilantly that things will be different someday.. somehow..
even when you could be the best boyfriend / lover / husband any girl could ever dream of..

my guess is.. she has already given her heart to someone else.

walk away now.. while you still can.

staying will only spell heartache for you.. and i cannot bear to see that happen to you.

there will be another, who will make you feel alive, who will happily give her heart to you, who will speak of you with a smile in her face and stars in her eyes.

i'm looking forward to that moment. and I'll pray that it won't be too far from today...
