With open arms.. "Welcome!"
(Yes, I realise the hour is atrocious too. But I'm pledging partial insomnia hehe.. Fine, FINE. I'm off to bed after this post. I promise!!)
Firstly, I welcome (or rather, welcomed) the long weekend due to Hari Krismas. And I took Tuesday off - so it really WAS a long weekend for me!
No, I didn't go on any short vacation. I stayed at home and did a lot of catching up on the beauty sleep.
Didn't even catch any movies last weekend - although I must say after the 3-movie marathon that Lene & I had last week's Wednesday, I'm taking a short break.
(OK, digress sikit nak cerita pasal movies..
1. Aeonflux: Not bad. Although the jigsaw pieces only fit towards the end hehe.. Mula-mula a bit boring 'cause we didn't know what was going on.
2. The Chronicles of Narnia - The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe: Had really high expectations after seeing LOTs of promotions. The story is quite simple. Some really nice cinematography. Ending was a bit abrupt laa.. Tiba-tiba je dah habis. Hehe.. But all in all, it was an enjoyable movie.
3. King Kong: Err.. nice cinematography. Storyline? I didn't like it AT ALL! Plus some kids at the seats behind us were eating non-stop. OMG.. I think kids wouldn't enjoy this movie becoz (a) it's too long (bloody 3 hours ++ !) (b) not all of them would get the movie...
Hmm, my verdict: BORING! Rugi je RM8. I wish I had watched something else that day.
Hehe.. ok laa.. back to my post :P )
Second thing to welcome:
Sheils back from NYC!! Welcome home.. Miss you girl! (((hugs!)))
My closest friends would know this: I'm not one who expect souvenirs. You know, from anyone who goes off on a holiday, especially to foreign places.
So, eventhough I've known wayyyyyy in advanced of her trip to NYC, I didn't exactly expect any souvenirs from Sheils. Neither did I kirim for her to buy me anything while she was there.
Err, that being out in the open, that NEVER means I'll refuse any sweet momentos from anyone who remembers to buy something for me, tau!
:)) Jangan salah faham ye? Hehehe..
Thirdly:
I'm welcoming this weekend, as on 31st Dec (Saturday), I'm meeting up with The Girls, plus a sleepover at Rina's place (Erks!! Tak beli lagi ingredients for the baked macaroni. OK, esok MESTI pergi grocery shopping).
Their beloved faces would be the last things I see in 2005, and the first things in front of me, come 12.01 midnight 1st Jan'06.
Now that's a great start to a new year!
And last, but never least...
Welcome to the New Year 2006. May the dawn of 1st January brings along fresh hopes and many beautiful things to look forward too :))
(Hmm, I'm thinking of catching Harry Potter & The Goblet of Fire on Monday 2nd Jan'06 laa.. I think only available at GSC Cinemas. TGV is no longer running this movie. Hmm... Should I go to Mid Valley? Hmmm....)
